Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in landscape construction

• Installation and care of tree and shrubs

• General landscape masonry skills a plus!

• Team player with high attention to detail

• Basic irrigation knowledge is helpful

• Customer service oriented with strong communication skills is a must

• Understanding of the importance of accurate and timely paperwork

Responsibilities

• Installs the highest quality landscape projects.

• Prepare and grade lawn areas and planting beds; planting of plants, shrubs, trees, and lawn areas using manual and/or power operated machines; includes mulching, fertilizing, watering plant materials; digging of trenches if needed.

• Understands proper use of all tools and equipment; maintains equipment daily, checks all fluid levels and fills if needed.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Time management skills; must abide by and enforce strict punctuality policies.

• Knowledge and experience in plant materials and proper planting practices

• Read and accurately interpret landscape plans for installations.

• Machinery operation – Hoisting/Hydraulics license

• Valid Driver’s License, CDL preferred.

• Layout – Read and accurately interpret landscape plans for installations.

• Grading – using a laser.

Enhancement Project Manager

The Enhancement Manager will estimate, perform, and manage all enhancement services to help ensure the successful completion of projects. Responsibilities include project management with all aspects of landscape enhancement projects including estimating, scheduling, material sourcing/ procurement, masonry/ plant layout, field coordination, subcontractor management and can include assistance in performing of enhancement jobs

Responsibilities

• Coordination and management of field personnel as related to the enhancement department.

• General layout of enhancement projects to ensure project accuracy as sold by the Sales team and related to the design of the Landscape Architect within the masonry or plating fields.

• Ability to perform enhancement projects under or at budgeted hours, cost, quantities, etc. as proposed.

• Identifying, tracking, procuring, and job costing of all necessary materials ensuring they arrive as needed and in line with the schedule.

• Identifying any lead-time problems or set backs and working with Operations Manager to resolve and keeping all appropriate parties in the loop regarding project implications.

• Effectively communicating with subcontractors and in-house team as needed to ensure potential issues are quickly resolved.

• Developing and maintaining positive management, field, and Subcontractor relationships.

• Developing client relationships through being available for client requests, working collaboratively with outside parties to accomplish client goals and maintaining close communication across the in-house team.

• Estimating future enhancement projects with Sales Representatives.

• Administrative responsibilities include payroll and material/ sub contractor invoice/ receipt approval, scheduling, tracking backlog, communication with RPM employees, clients, GC’s, LA’s, etc.

• Winter snow removal performance and management.

• Ability and willingness to do other job functions as requested.

Assistant Project Managers support the assigned Project Manager to effectively and efficiently manage multiple projects.

Job Duties:

• Accurate information management to include management of plans, RFI’s, drawings, files, and electronic documents.

• Utilizing computer related software (CAD, Bluebeam, OST, Smartsheet, landscape management system) to ensure CAD files, procurement logs, schedules, and field documentation are accurate and timely

• Creating and managing shop drawings and submittals

• Regular site visits to allow for proper communication between field and management

• Management/acquisition of materials needed for assigned projects

• Performing takeoffs for assigned projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in landscape or construction management, Engineering, or other relevant discipline

• 1-2 years of experience in project management or landscape construction

• Strong computer skills including CAD, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Suite
