Responsibilities

• Coordination and management of maintenance irrigation field personnel throughout region consisting of 5 branches throughout southern New England.

• General setup/ layout of irrigation visits to ensure project quality and accuracy as sold/ requested by the Account Management team and expected by client.

• Ability to perform irrigation visits under or at budgeted hours, cost, quantities, etc. as proposed or necessary.

This position requires:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in landscape construction

• Installation and care of tree and shrubs

• General landscape masonry skills a plus!

• Team player with high attention to detail

• Basic irrigation knowledge is helpful

• Custom service oriented with strong communication skills is a must

• Understanding of the importance of accurate and timely paperwork

This position requires:

• The ability to perform tree pruning techniques of trees and shrubs including advanced techniques required to prune and remove trees near obstacles and in high-risk situations.

• Knowledge and experience in appropriate equipment operation, cabling and bracing, and safety standards.

• Ability to lead and mentor crew members

• Ability and licensing to drive non-CDL trucks and trailers

Irrigation Service Technician

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years working with irrigation systems as a service or installation technician

• Ability to diagnose and repair issues within residential and commercial irrigation systems

• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic issues within multi zone existing irrigation systems

• Mechanically oriented individual with a passion in repairing irrigation systems

• Ability to startup systems in the spring and winterize them in the fall

• Ability to check functionality of systems, adjust controllers, adjust heads, change nozzles, etc. to ensure proper irrigation of high end landscapes

General Requirements include:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Team player with high attention to detail and willingness to learn

• Customer service oriented with strong communication skills is a must

• The Horticulture Crew Leader will have a minimum of two years of fine gardening experience, MCH or MCLP a huge plus.

• Able to lead a team of up to four crew members.

• Assist with the installation and care of woody, perennial, and annual plant material.

• Hand pruning of shrubs and small trees, and container planting and maintenance.

• Strong knowledge of horticultural best practices required.
